What to drink in the late afternoon with our guests? Coffee of course... and a nice home - made liqueurs...Combination of plums and cherries sounds really intrigue...
Let's try to do it ;)
"Plums and cherries liqueur"
- 1 kg plums /2 pounds/
- 0,5 kg cherries
- 1 l 40-45% pure vodka
- 1 glass of honey /or sugar/
- 1 stick of vanilla
Washed plums place in a big jar. Add vodka and vanilla stick.
Place cherries in another jar and add honey.
Wait two weeks. Then gauze-filter vodka into a bowl, combining with the sirup from cherries. Mix, filter into bottles and leave for 6 months.
